While the holiday chocolates and goodies are well over and done with, my sweet tooth somehow manages to never fully be satisfied. Whether candy-coated, dipped in chocolate or smothered in sprinkles, I have yet to find anything that will truly curb my cravings. Rather than over-indulging in anymore sugary temptations, I think it is safe to say I found a much healthier  alternative for the time being. These etsy treats are delicious without the calories, who could say no to that? I'm drooling already.

What who are you hiding from?

Birds of a Feather

Flock together. Originally "byrdes of on kynde and color flok and flye allwayes together", this ancient proverb was first used in the 16th century by William Turner in the papist satire The Rescuing of Romish Fox. The meaning behind this old English phrase is that those with similar interests will congregate in groups. But is there really safety in numbers? I believe that feathers make the most beautiful accessory. Whether around my head or in my hair, on my neck or hanging from my ears finding a way to add a soft and dainty touch to any outfit comes easy. I am always sure to ask about cruelty-free feathers which makes me feel good knowing the birds who provided them are still wearing feathers, too.

Crimson. Ruby. Scarlet. Blood. Cherry. I am having an affair in red square. From my nails to my nylons, jeans and tops, my favorite place apply this kiss-me color is the lips. Stop traffic with a punch of red on your pout. Brighten up any outfit and show everyone who's smokin' hot. (And you don't have to be Abbey Lee Kershaw to do so)

Paint Me Pretty

If I had someone paint a picture of me, I'd ask them to paint me pretty. If I had someone paint a picture of my life, I would ask them to paint it beautiful. If I painted anything myself, it would be everything but. I may be no painter, but art is beyond what you can do with a brush.
