Crochet is the ideal print for summer. Perfect over a swim suit or bright separates and airy enough to give way for that warm summer breeze. This see-through print reveals enough to add that perfect femme hint to doll up your beach or poolside routine while subtly showing off your sun-kissed skin. I recently thrifted an incredible cream crochet mini dress from Salvation Army that I plan to pair with just about every shade of color underneath. From neon to navy, my vintage crochet mini dress will be an essential in my summer collection.
My life has been a bit of a circus lately, so this weekend I am headed off to San Diego for a mini vacay and to visit some of my good friends. What I am looking forward to the most is this Saturday's 7th annual Tour D'Deigo Cirque de Tour happening in Ocean Beach. Not your typical seaside cruise around the block, this OB adventure is definitely going to be a show! With this year's theme as Carnival, I am channeling my inner circus chic and coming up with something spectacular to wear for the ride. Let's just hope the costume can handle the heat!
For menswear. Just picked up a few treasures while in Pasadena last week, including some fabulous vintage blazers and bow ties! Lately my color cravings have been reds, oranges and warmer tones of beige and bronze. I'm not the only one who is all [bow] tied up because some of favorite boy bloggers (I am Galla + Kolonel Mustard) are getting quite sophisticated, too. Stay tuned for upcoming Killer Styling events happening next month. We will have plenty of fine goodies for all you fashionable chaps.
